Less than a month from today I will be in Spain! A year of planning, excitement, and a little bit of apprehension will be over and the adventure will begin. So, naturally I’ve been thinking about how different my 7 week journey will be from my ordinary, everyday life. Bring it on!

• 99% of my clothing
• Midwest thunderstorms
• The comfort and convenience of modern life

7 weeks with…

• The Spanish sunshine
• My hiking boots
• My dodgy knees
• New friends from all over the world
• Authentic Spanish food and wine
• The quietude of my thoughts
• Confidence in what my body can accomplish
• The opportunity to relearn Spanish
• Beautiful little villages and big Gothic cathedrals
• The adventure of a lifetime!
