It felt almost surreal waking up this morning and realizing that the Camino is done. I had some fun experiences today. I went to the pilgrims mass at 12:00 at the Cathedral and got to see the botafumiero swinging. It’s never a guarantee that it will be on any given day, so I lucked out!

After a little siesta this afternoon (I will really miss siesta culture!), I went on a guided tour of the rooftops and towers of the Cathedral. Normally, heights do not bother me, however the slanted concrete portions of the roof really do make you feel like you’re going to fall off.

And I happened to remember a really good meal that I had two years ago in Santiago. A little tiny vegetarian Indian food restaurant called the Greenhouse. So, I went there for dinner.

My taxi to the airport will pick me up at 4:00 tomorrow morning for my flight home!
