Two fairly easy 12 mile days through the rolling hills. The mornings have been cool and misty, and the afternoons quite warm.

I arrived in Plaza de Obradoiro in front of the Cathedral de Santiago yesterday afternoon. After that, I went to the Pilgrim’s Office to get my credential, toured the cathedral including the tomb of St. James, met friends for a drink, and saw the solar eclipse from the plaza! It was a busy afternoon! Today I will attend the 12:00 pilgrim’s Mass (and hopefully see the botafumeiro swinging!), do a tour of the towers and rooftops of the cathedral, and visit my favorite little Santiago restaurant, “The Greenhouse” which has Indian, vegetarian food.
